Nick Watts

Our Accompanist, Nick Watts LTCL, is a graduate of Bradford University. He is also the accompanist for Leeds Methodist Choir and deputy accompanist for The Rodillian Singers. He accompanied The Bradford Chorale for ten years, and is in demand with other choirs and musicians in the area.

Concerts have included the Ravel Piano Concerto with Bradford University Orchestra, Rossini's Petite Messe Solonelle, Orff's Carmina Burana and Lambert's Rio Grande with Bradford Chorale. Also Rio Grande and Brahms' German Requiem with the Yorkshire Philharmonic Choir. Continuo performances include Handel's Messiah and Solomon, and Bach's Christmas Oratorio and Magnificat for Bradford Chorale, Pontefract Choral Society and St. Peter's Consort. He was music director for Grassington Players' Oh What a Lovely War in 2015. In a completely different style he plays with Simon Armitage's band, The Scaremongers', performing at Huddersfield and Ilkley Literature Festivals, Latitude, and an appearance on The Culture Show for the BBC.
